Conservation Security Program: Six Missouri watersheds are among 202 across the nation selected to participate in the Conservation Security Program (CSP) this year. The CSP is a voluntary program that provides financial and technical assistance to producers who advance the conservation and improvement of soil, water, air, energy, plant and animal life, and other conservation purposes on Tribal and private working lands. Such lands include cropland, grassland, prairie land, improved pasture, and range land, as well as forested land and other non-cropped areas that are an incidental part of the agriculture operation. This may include any number of agroforestry practices. For signup information, go to: http://www.mo.nrcs.usda.gov/programs/CSP/stewardship/csp_general.html .
