Caroline Todd is the business support specialist II for the Center for Agroforestry at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Her 17+ years of experience in office management makes her proficient in structuring procedures and policies, grant writing, personnel management and budgeting. She has balanced budgets over $500K and has secured over $175,000 in local, state and federal grants with $100,000 as principle investigator. Caroline is a specialist in creating, organizing and implementing community events ranging from formal settings to outdoor farmers’ markets, fundraisers, promotional booths, Boy Scout activities and the educational competition Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources Regional Envirothon for high school students. Her experience includes hundreds of presentations on topics such as local foods and health regulations, sales and marketing strategies, soil erosion, and horse care. Her audience has included state and federal senate committees, professionals, retirees, consumers, and children of all ages. As editor of weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly newsletters, she earned local and regional recognition for the Columbia, Missouri Downtown Rotary annual directory and weekly newsletter. She received her B.S. in Equestrian Science from Stephens College, Columbia, Missouri.
